Terms of use

Simply Linked is a private directory run for one community. By creating an account you agree to the following.

Who can join

• You must be an adult and a genuine member of this community.
• You must verify a phone number that is yours, and an admin must approve your request. The admin may call you first, and may decline a request.
• One account per person. Do not create an account for someone else.

Your profile

• Describe yourself and your work truthfully. Do not claim qualifications, licences or experience you do not have.
• Use a real photo of yourself as your profile photo, and only add images you have the right to use.
• Keep it current. If you stop offering a service, remove it.
• An offer for the community is a promise to fellow members. Honour it, or take it down.

Enquiries

• Enquiries are for genuinely asking about someone's work. No bulk messages, advertising, chain messages, fundraising or recruitment for schemes.
• Be polite. Harassment, threats and discrimination are not tolerated.
• If someone shares their contact details with you, use them only for what you were discussing. Do not pass them on or add them to a mailing list.
• Either member can report a conversation. Reporting lets an admin read it.

What the directory does not do

The directory helps members find each other. It does not check qualifications, guarantee anyone's work, handle payments or take part in any agreement between members. Use the same judgement you would when hiring anyone, and check licences and references where they matter.

When things go wrong

An admin may hide content, decline a request, or deactivate an account that breaks these terms or harms other members. If you think a decision was a mistake, contact the admin.

Leaving

You can hide your profile or delete your account at any time from your Account page. The Privacy notice explains what happens to your information.

Changes

These terms may change as the community learns what works. If a change matters, members will be told before it applies.
